I can hardly remember what the name means anymore.

PR 2.0: Twitter Tools for Community and Communications Professionals — A lengthy and informative roundup of the plethora of Twitter tools that are out there.

I am fascinated by the Twitter phenomenon.  I am definitely starting to use it more than Facebook for communicating with people.  In fact, I usually use Twitter to update my Facebook status (I am still apologizing to my Facebook friends for all of the alltop links).  I am also finding Twitter to be a good way to keep up on current events.

I think the inner-fifth grader in me loves twitter because of the various plays on the word “twit” and “tweet”.  The linked article has a heapin’ helpin of ‘em.

I used to love long blog posts with all sorts of esoteric detail on matters that others were expert on.  I used to love writing posts that had all sorts of well-researched links.  Lately I am finding that I don’t much like to read anything past 140 characters.  Lord knows, I am too busy (lazy) to dedicate the time I used to dedicate (several years back) to a blog.  I like the speed and frequency of Twitter.  It feels like a lot less work than a “real” blog.  I can get my thoughts out in a matter of seconds. It forces me to be brief.  Could it be that Twitter is giving me late-onset ADHD?
