The Giants say that Plaxico will not play again this year. I can’t say this is a bad thing. I know he’s talented, but I never felt he played with any “heart”. I think Dominick Hixon is a more exciting player anyway. I love how he can get clobbered after making a catch and he always pops up with a smile on his face. He seems to be a player that loves the game and not the paycheck.
BTW, the article says Burress will plead not guilty. Am I missing something? Isn’t the evidence pretty overwhelming. How will he explainthe bullet in his leg? I am sure he is looking for a plea bargain.
Update: I am a little concerned about the Antonio Pierce piece of this story. He’s one I wouldn’t want to see the Giants lose.
