Through the intrepid reportage of Charles Kuffner, blogotopia was made aware of the gigantic President heads that are hiding out off of Sawyer Ave. in Houston. Now, thanks to Zippy the Pinhead, the fans of esoteric comics will know about them as well. While this Zippy strip takes place in the actual Presidents Park in Williamsburg, VA, Zippy has visited locations near my actual place of residence in two different states. On two separate occasions, he visited Maple Donuts which was about a half a mile from my former apartment in “sunny” York, Pa. He also visited the Houston Heights used-car lot that features two gigantic man sculptures.
