I can hardly remember what the name means anymore.

I think you’re supposed to cook it before you eat it.

I think “regular guys” usually know how to eat “regular guy” food like corn on the cob.

    No, but this article, which I should have linked to in the original post says it was raw. Of course it also says that:

    Raw corn is typically fed to livestock, but Irvin Anderson, a professor of corn physiology and biochemistry at Iowa State University, said some people liked it raw.

    I still think it is weird.

  4. I have been getting all sorts of grief for posting the picture up on Open Source Politics. Has anyone ever seen people eat sweet corn raw and unshucked before? Is this some sort of custom anywhere that anyone knows about? I have a hard time believing that, since I always thought that either you shucked it and boiled it, or you soaked it in water and tossed it on the barbie. Either way I have never seen anybody do anything like what they told us the Torturer in Chief was up to. Has anyone else?
