Oh — nothing to tell in general… about Knit Out? Was a happy insanely crowded event. The only problem being people shoving one another to get to the free patterns & sizing up one another’s creations. The knit fashion show was a riot as they used surly faced size 0 models and house music. Chunky sweaters and ‘tude don’t mix.
But a huge line to “learn to knit” with a genuine knitter was bizarre. The little old ladies and the aggressively frumpy had their day. They taught, modelled and were treated like rock stars.
My best pal, my dog and I retreated to the serenity of the park where she attempted to teach me proper tension & ribbing while we tore apart her ex.
