My name is Rob. I live in Beacon, NY which is a small town on the Hudson river about 60 miles north of NYC. I love it here. I never thought I would enjoy living in a small town, but, oh well.
I am a dad. I have a two-year-old son that amazes me every day. I can’t imagine life without him.
I work as a manager for a small software firm. I love my job and am constantly trying to learn how to be better at it. I am also a PMP-certified project manager. I have been involved in IT for about 14 years. I enjoy reading almost everything, but lately find myself reading many business books and business blogs.
I am addicted to Twitter (rnjh00). I also like Facebook, but that has become more of a way to connect with people I haven’t seen in 20 years. You gotta love the internets.
I started this site in 2002. At that time I mostly blogged about politics. Those old posts are still in the archives.
I am refocusing this site on business-related material including content on customer experience, management, leadership (yes they are 2 different things), and productivity.
